Faced with a typically transnationalist CNN anchor, in the early 1990s, Charleton Heston once asked, “Who do you think you are? Switzerland?”
Flash-forward to today, questioning the patriotism of a town hall organizer, CNN’s Don Lemon (he of the short historical memory), gets, as Al Gore would say, snippy: “Can we lose that ‘real Americans thing? We’re all ‘real Americans.’”
Glad we cleared that up, old sport! Please inform CNN’s D. L. Hughley, who told the chairman of the Republican National Committee that the GOP convention last year “literally look[ed] like Nazi Germany”, and Susan Roesgen, who declared the April 15th Chicago Tea Party “unfit for family viewing” while you’re at it.
And please let Mike Wallace know, and contact the late Peter Jennings and Walter Cronkite by Ouija board. I’m sure they’d be stunned by this new patriotic fervor amongst network journalists well.

America isn’t a particular land mass, it isn’t your heimat or home land, it’s holding the concept that men are free and liberty is highly valued. I’ve met more “real Americans” in China and Korea than CNN has on their whole payroll.
Eurosocialism isn’t American. It’s why we left Europe in the first place.
I can’t watch CNN. It represents the third world sh*t hole the USA has become.
