The Rational Male

October 5th, 2013 - 6:56 am

I was surprised yesterday when I found a copy of Rollo Tomassi’s new book The Rational Male outside my door. Glenn had ordered it after hearing about it in the “Manosphere” and thought it would be right up my alley. Of course it was/is. I haven’t gotten around to reading it yet but given the following description from Amazon, I can’t wait to see what he has to say:

The Rational Male is a rational and pragmatic approach to intergender dynamics and the social and psychological underpinnings of intergender relations. The book is the compiled, ten-year core writing of author/blogger Rollo Tomassi from Rollo Tomassi is one of the leading voices in the globally growing, male-focused online consortium known as the “Manosphere”. Outlined are the concepts of positive masculinity, the feminine imperative, plate theory, operative social conventions and the core psychological theory behind Game awareness and “red pill” ideology. Tomassi explains and outlines the principles of intergender social dynamics and foundational reasoning behind them.

This page flashed across my twitter feed. I've listened to "The Rational Male" by Rollo Tomassi twice since I received it. The audiobook version does not exist yet, so I made one so that I could learn from it while driving, working out and even swimming using waterproof headphones.

Why would I illustrate this story in relation to the new Rollo Tomassi? It's simple. Lori Gottlieb, has stated that a friend had disqualified a potential man because he listened to audiobooks. Her friend explained that listening to audiobooks implies a lack of intelligence because he was not actually 'reading' the books.

Rollo Tomassi unravels the deep human instincts that have existed long before the culture creation industry embedded more recent templates. For more than a decade, he's moderated discussions on these inter gender topics that have been read, challenged and tested by millions of people. The real-life tests by his readers during these years has sharpened and proven "The Rational Male" truths.

I've recommended that Ryan Seacrest repeatedly read Rollo Tomassi as part of his show prep, explained here: Even with the scripting in his Matchmaker TV show, the absolute truths in "The Rational Male" are necessary on that stage and on his syndicated radio shows.

The years spent developing what has become this book have attracted those that worship at the altar of source criticism. There is no peer-reviewed scholarly journal in the world that has tested these truths on this grand scale. When you think about it, you realize that peer reviewers are in positions of authority because of certain world views.

Often, those world views are limited by what they've been taught. They've not tested this material in their own lives. Further, they are employed by entities that require them to write, research, lecture within certain pre-determined boundaries. "The Rational Male" data has not been limited by funding or by any authority.

Rollo Tomassi funded this, and he invested his own time into this body of work. Most of us have found these truths uncomfortable, and they're difficult to believe. Instead of coming to these conclusions from a closed lab, millions of us questioned and challenged his work. Our real-life experiences have proven his work true.

Though you will most likely disagree with parts of the new Rollo Tomassi, it's an important read. I only wish that his book had arrived decades ago!

"But I'm a nice guy, and I don't want to be one of those creepy pick up artists." Um, same here. I'm a nice guy too. That's why you MUST read this book right now.

This is the FIRST and ONLY inexpensive resource that teaches you stuff you're wonderful Mother did not teach you. And... it lets you keep your 'values' intact. Tomassi is a faithful and happily married man. I spent five figures to learn from others what "The Rational Male" teaches for less than $10. An amazing woman wants to 'fix' her man. This page explains how "The Rational Male" by Rollo Tomassi could do that.

Even the most sympathetic women find Rollo a bit disquieting at times, but he's beyond insightful regarding human nature. I hope you enjoy the book and look forward to hearing what you think about it.

This news underlines it.

WHNT News 19 already has taken it off its website. The YouTube Video contains bitchy shaming comments etc.

That's the "athmosphere" which already has been created and which will find ist way to extend itself. Probably the worst since the Nazis, but of equal dark human origin - this time apparently female in character and borne out of greedy craving for recognition by playing false victim and creating a kind of Yellow Star for boys in Schools and Universities, fathers, etc.

Could be that it develops into one of the most shameful cultural regressions mankind has developed ... the smell is already there. Maybe ist necessary that women must expose themselves to loose their "innocence" ... only if there weren't those innocent real victims who also who have or had a life in front of them.

This incident and the already visible societal recreancy and arrogance connected to this hurts my soul.

Thanks for the link Dr. Helen. I checked out the site and found a lot of it resonates with my own views. There is always the question as to whether the chicken, or the egg, came first but the point is that people can make better decisions if they are able to face the reality of the way things REALLY ARE - right now - instead of what they want to believe, or wish, that they were.

I found this video at the site to be a powerful statement about current reality.

I'll definitely be spending more time there perusing.
