Video: Obamanomics

Back from an amazing trip to Israel. Here’s a snapshot of me and Mrs. Culture on the Mount of Olives, where Jesus famously said to Peter, “Before the cock crows, you will deny me three times.” To which Peter replied, “But Lord, I’m not even going to the Democratic convention!”

Hey great to have you back, Klavan- I really love those articles and vids. I can’t understand why more high profile people like yourself are not mocking our supremely mockable Knucklehead-in-Chief. Anyway next time you’re in this part of the world you should visit poor, benighted Greece. You can use our house by the sea (like John Kerry, I married my wealth). One bright spot for Greece’s future are its recent vastly improved relations with Israel, partly because the Turks don’t like Israel (the enemy of my enemy and all that), and partly because of the huge natural gas and petroleum fields recently discovered in the Aegean. My city, Thessaloniki, used to be called ‘The Jerusalem of the West.”

Isn’t it amazing how there is an object lesson on government entitlement spending in the news anytime we need it? If everyone compared how Scott Walker handled it vs. what Rahm Emmanuel is about to endure it would be enough to ensure Obama’s re-integration into the private sector. Glad to hear you were able to get away for a few days.

Dear Mr. Klavan:
Your video presentation must be wrong! You did not mention Voodoo or Black Magic once when you started talking about the president’s economic plans. We all know that money is created when Satan summons up vast quantities for the evil corporations and the only thing that is saving us is that the government takes this evil money away just in time to prevent the evil companies from becoming more evil….or something like that.
