Michael Moore Plays Into Russia's Plans, Urging Kids to 'Revolt!' and 'Shut Down These Schools'

In the wake of the Parkland shooting, Leftist film director and activist Michael Moore encouraged students to “revolt” and “shut down these schools,” as news broke that he took an active role in an anti-Trump rally orchestrated by Russian meddling shortly after the 2016 election. Instigating revolt may be precisely what the Russian meddling aimed to achieve.

“The adults of America have made every child fear they might be shot to death one day at school. It is time now for the adults to fear the children who are rising up, who will walk out & shut down these schools — and who will very soon be voters,” Moore tweeted. “Students! Revolt! We support you!”

Moore made these remarks shortly before news broke that a rally against Trump in which he took a lead role was actually orchestrated by Russian meddling efforts — after the 2016 election.

As The Daily Caller’s Derek Hunter reported, Moore took part in an anti-Trump protest in New York organized by Russians, according to the indictments released from Special Counsel Robert Mueller last Friday. Mueller issued indictments for 13 Russian nationals for meddling in the 2016 election, focusing on how the Russians used social media to stir up strife and anger on social media — and got unwitting Americans to do their bidding.

One Russian-orchestrated event took place on November 12, 2016, a few days after the election. Moore became personally involved in the event, called “Trump is NOT my President.”

On that day, Moore posted a live video of his involvement on Facebook.

He also tweeted an image of himself at the event.

Despite the fact Moore himself took part in a Russian-orchestrated event, he continuously mocked President Donald Trump and his party as tools of Russia in American politics. Last month, he even posted the Russian national anthem on Facebook, suggesting that Republicans would play it in lieu of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Trump, Pence, top White House officials, key Cabinet members and top Republican leaders in Congress are at a retreat…

Shortly before the Electoral College voted to make Trump the 45th president, Moore wrote a long post urging electors to refuse to support Trump because of “Russian hacking” of the election. “I know you HAVE to be full of worry and consternation over the way Russia hacked into our election in order to help Trump,” Moore wrote.

According to Mueller’s indictment, the Russian meddling had “a strategic goal to sow discord into the U.S. political system, including the 2016 U.S. presidential election.”

When that discord happened to appeal to Moore, he participated in it, and as of late, he continues to sow discord, even going so far as to encourage students to “revolt” and to “shut down these schools.”

Moore has yet to address the news of his involvement in a Russian-orchestrated rally. I wouldn’t expect an apology any time soon.
