On Monday, Linda Sarsour, a leader of the Women’s March who has links to radical Islamic terrorism, solicited donations for a “Harvey Hurricane Relief Fund.” But donors actually going to the site discovered that it was a left-wing political advocacy group.

It wasn’t just Sarsour, either. The liberal group Texas Organizing Project also tweeted the link, saying, “Rebuilding in areas impacted by Hurricane Harvey will be most challenging for marginalized communities. DONATE HERE.”

A conservative Twitter user actually followed the link and discovered something curious. He alerted Twitter to the fact that Linda Sarsour’s account “is directing Harvey relief funds to a political PAC,” and that “not a dime goes to victims…”

Fox News contributor Stephen Miller also called Sarsour out. “This is a link to a political action committee. Not to victims of relief,” he tweeted.

The Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund web page Sarsour linked to is a project of the Texas Organizing Project Education Fund.
“Rebuilding in areas impacted by Harvey will be most challenging for marginalized communities,” the page explains. “Nearly a quarter of Houstonians live in poverty — approximately 550,000 people. We also estimate that there are 575,000 immigrants in the Houston metro area.”
Given the liberal group’s focus on immigrants and other “marginalized communities,” the organization’s page pledges, “We will work to move the material aid the most vulnerable hit by harvey to ensure their access to critical services — from first response and basic needs to healthcare, housing, transportation, immigration.”
“Together we will organize and advocate for our devastated communities, shining a spotlight on inequalities that emerge in the restoration of lives, livelihoods, and homes, amplifying the needs of hard-hit communities, providing legal assistance for residents wrongfully denied government support.”
The Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund is supported by the left-wing groups SEIU and MoveOn.org. The Texas Organizing Project Education Fund is an offshoot of the Texas Organizing Project, itself an offshoot of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), the radical group allegedly implicated in voter-registration fraud, vote-rigging, voter-intimidation, and vote-for-pay scams.
ACORN was disbanded in 2010, but at least 15 former ACORN employees were convicted of voter fraud and related activities, according to Discover the Networks.
Responding to criticism, Sarsour argued that “Texas Organizing Project is not my PAC, but who cares about facts when you are white supremacists obsessed with smearing women of color.”

“Who cares about facts?” indeed. Sarsour’s response did not address the key issue, that the organization she supports as providing relief for “Hurricane Harvey victims” is actually aiming at pushing a social justice warrior redistribution of relief goods.
While organizations like the Red Cross will go out and help anyone suffering, the Texas Organizing Project will make sure only the “marginalized groups” get assistance. This is identity politics getting in the way of disaster relief.
Sarsour is perhaps most infamous for her instigation of a “jihad” against President Donald Trump this past July. She has supported a political enshrinement of sharia (Islamic law), has ties to the terrorist organization Hamas … and lectures Westerners about women’s rights, after she tweeted that Brigitte Gabriel and Ayaan Hirsi Ali “don’t deserve to be women” and should have their vaginas taken away.
