It’s hard to believe, but the NYPD and the FBI are urgently searching for a man with a surprisingly Islamic-sounding name in connection with the New York City and New Jersey bombings over the weekend.
I know what the average reader is now thinking: “It can’t be! Say it isn’t so!”
Well, I’m afraid it is.
The police say they’re searching for one Ahmad Khan Rahami, 28 years old. This is what he looks like:
The FBI have released a “wanted poster” with his photo, explaining that he’s “wanted for questioning.”
I realize it’ll come as a shock to many, but Mr. Raheem is apparently a Muslim. Although he has an American passport, he was born in… Afghanistan: the land of Al Qaeda and the Taliban.
In other words, Raheem is a radical Muslim immigrant. Isn’t multiculturalism just grand? Such an enrichment for Western societies.
Oh, before I forget: the FBI says Raheem is armed and extremely dangerous.
