The Whole Media Matters Megillah

Ever since the Daily Caller released a list of foundation donors to Media Matters For America (MMFA) there have been posts pointing to one or two of the foundations being Jewish.  The issue of course is the fact that MMFA promotes anti-Semitism mostly through M.J. Rosenberg, its Senior Foreign Policy Fellow.  Rosenberg regularly questions the patriotism of American Jews who support Israel (calling them “Israel firsters”), and he claims those same Jews (he calls them the Israel lobby) control the media and America’s foreign policy.

After researching the entire list of  foundations helping to fund MMFA (hey, there was no football on yesterday, had nothing else to do), I discovered a broader list of foundations which were Jewish in mission, or had Jewish founders and donated to Jewish causes.

Among my favorites is the Lear Foundation, created by TV great Norman Lear, who donated both to MMFA and to the Museum of Tolerance. That is run by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, who recently denounced MJ Rosenberg and MMFA for their use of anti-Semitic slurs.

There is more to learn about the hypocrisy of these Jewish foundations who support anti-Semitism, but sadly I am too busy to follow up right now.  According to Media Matters I need to go back to work running the media and controlling Congress.
