CPAC begins today

It’s part political activism, part opening bell of the 2012 GOP primary, part prom, part blog convention — it’s CPAC 2011. I’m here in DC to cover the festivities, laptop and Tatlercam in hand. PJTV will be providing live coverage and interviews throughout the event. Looking over the agenda, I’m looking forward to seeing several of the possible presidential contenders in person, catching up with friends like Human Events‘ Jason Mattera and radio beast Kevin McCollough and all the fellow bloggers who have become part of the experience. And, of course, appearances by Texans Ted Cruz and Gov. Rick Perry.

And then there’s the keynote, by Rep. Allen West. That’s going to burn the town up, and I can’t wait.
