BREAKING NEWS: Mubarak Not To Seek Re-election

Citing Obama administration officials, CNN is reporting that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will not seek re-election in the September voting.

The anonymous Obama White House release to CNN, of course, reinforces the notion that Washington is pulling the strings.   It is a continuation of the fumbling of an administration facing its first true international crisis.
