Kevin and I have a pretty good read on who Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico really is, but Talarico himself seems to be unsure about it all.
As a candidate, Talarico is all over the place. At times, he is a perfect example of the blatant pandering that is the hallmark of the Democratic Party. It's what they do and, sadly, they have success with it.
At other times, however, Talarico seems to blank out and forget that he's running for national office in the state of Texas. The shtick that's gotten him elected to the Texas House of Representatives from a heavily minority Dem district won't fly. There he is, though, telling cattle ranchers that they shouldn't eat beef because Earth will get a fever and die or something.
Kevin and I thought it would be fun to verbally rough up Talarico while trying to figure out what his endgame is. It also gave us a perfect opportunity to bag on Jasmine Crockett. You know how much we love that.
Brokeback is the happiest he's been in years, and Rodrigo is grateful for the reduced workload.
