State Department spokesperson John Kirby has had a lot of explaining to do recently. He was asked point blank if the world has become a safer place since President Obama took office, and he demurred with this response: “I don’t know that the world’s ever been a completely safe place.” Fox News host Bill Hemmer is right though: ISIS is spreading, Syria is a disaster, we have a refugee crisis, Iran has been enabled to develop nuclear weapons, China’s stealing our drones, North Korea keeps testing missiles, immigrants keep crossing our border illegally, and there are just so many threats on the horizon. Sure doesn’t seem safer…
