Terror is everywhere — especially, it seems, in Europe.

Thank you to this wannabe terrorist for reminding us all that Britain continues to have a very serious terror problem:

Armed police have arrested a man in connection with preparing a terror attack just yards from Downing Street.

Officers shut down the roads around Whitehall as they carried out the arrest, pushing the man to the ground before holding him at the scene.

The man, who was carrying a bag of knives, was arrested in Parliament Street, close to the scene of last month’s terror attack which killed five people including PC Keith Palmer last month.

While the man was held to the ground, police searched his backpack. In it they found “a collection of knives,” reports Sky News. Forensic officers and armed guards are examining the scene. Traffic has come to a standstill, which is not exactly surprising considering that this location is in the heart of British politics.
