Brace yourself, Ilhan Omar has been triggered by someone tweeting something!

On Wednesday, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) called on Twitter to suspend President Trump from their platform after he retweeted a video shared by conservative actor and comedian Terrence Williams that incorrectly claimed Omar was out dancing on the anniversary of 9/11 terrorist attacks. “Ilhan Omar, a member of AOC Plus 3, will win us the Great State of Minnesota. The new face of the Democrat Party!” Trump wrote when he shared the now-deleted tweet.

The video in question was actually from two nights later, during an event hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus.

“They have a responsibility and they set community standards and clearly the president has shown many-a-times that he has violated their community standards,” she told Politico. “I don’t even know why his account is not fully suspended — why he’s not deplatformed.”

Omar told Politico that her staff actually contacted Twitter regarding Trump’s tweet, which she claims has resulted in her receiving death threats.

President Trump has repeatedly targeted Ilhan Omar and other members of the so-called “Squad,” labeling them the new face of the Democratic Party and highlighting their radical views and anti-Semitism. Last month, Israel barred Reps. Omar and Rashida Tlaib from entering their country for their support of the anti-Semitic BDS movement. On the anniversary of 9/11, a son of woman killed during the terrorist attacks blasted Omar during the memorial ceremony for her past remarks that on 9/11 “some people did something.”
