Good Friday morning.

Here is what’s on the President’s agenda today:

  • The president receives his intelligence briefing
  • President Trump participates in a Defense Industrial Base Report presentation
  • The president participates in a signing ceremony for H.R. 4, the “FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018”

I have a condensed version of the Briefing for you this morning.

IMPORTANT:

This morning the Senate will vote to end debate (cloture) on the Kavanaugh nomination around 10:30 a.m. If that motion passes, there will be 30 hours of debate before a vote on Mr. Kavanaugh’s nomination. That will take place around Saturday at 4 or 5 p.m. Expect some kind of social unrest if Kavanaugh passes and I think he will pass. McConnell wouldn’t schedule a vote otherwise.
