The Hippocratic Oath was meant to be a sacred promise: doctors swearing to do no harm, act honestly, and maintain integrity in medical care and research. Today, that oath seems like a forgotten relic. Between the COVID disaster, the transgender craze, and Joe Biden, so-called “experts” have severely damaged the credibility of the medical establishment. In fact, every time an alleged medical authority appears on cable news, there’s almost no reason to believe them at face value.
Take MSNBC’s resident medical expert, Dr. Vin Gupta. This month, he appeared on the MeidasTouch network to discuss Trump’s “deteriorating health.”
“It’s clear that there’s age-related cognitive decline. I mean, that’s obvious,” he told host Ben Meiselas. He even claimed Trump’s reaction to someone fainting in the Oval Office “really conveyed” slowness, adding, “He didn’t show any signs of concern. He didn’t really do anything.” Gupta went on, “That slowness and fatigue you’re seeing more and more in his public events. … He’s confused a lot. … He sometimes mumbles incoherent nonsense when he’s asked a question.”
Then came the kicker: “Imagine if President Biden did any of those things.”
We don’t have to imagine. Joe Biden gave us plenty of reasons to question his cognitive and physical health on a daily basis. Getting lost on stage, rambling incoherently, losing his train of thought, confusing Egypt with Mexico, even forgetting when or how his own son died—these were just a few examples raising serious doubts about his fitness for office.
Yet in July 2024, after his disastrous debate performance against Trump, Dr. Gupta practically handed Biden a clean bill of health.
“Cardiovascularly, he is in excellent shape,” Gupta said on MSNBC, mere days before Biden dropped out of the presidential race, adding that he’s a pulmonologist who “sees this all the time in octogenarians.” He assured viewers that Biden was “quite high-functioning as an octogenarian and keeping up that schedule,” then added, “I think Joe Biden is actually quite robust relative to what we see with normal aging at 81.”
Robust. High-functioning. Excellent shape. All phrases that bore no resemblance to Biden. That’s what medicine has become. The same doctor who pronounced Joe Biden as “robust” back in July 2024 now wants us to believe that there’s something wrong with President Trump.

This isn’t surprising if you’ve been paying attention. I wrote about this in 2023 after watching Biden and John Fetterman undermine my faith in trustworthy doctors. Biden’s White House physician, Kevin O’Connor, was handing out politically convenient health reports, calling Biden “healthy, vigorous 80-year-old male who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the presidency,” even though it was obvious that wasn’t the case. Fetterman’s campaign used the same tactic with a note from his doctor, who happened to be a donor to his campaign, declaring him “fit for duty” despite his clear post-stroke struggles and ongoing health issues. Fetterman has since admitted he should have quit the race.
Here’s the harsh truth: medicine isn’t separate from politics anymore. The white coat has turned into a prop in the Democrat media playbook. Whether it’s covering for a mentally diminished candidate or insisting that gender transitions for kids are medically necessary, the scam is on. These aren’t impartial professionals. They’re scripted political operatives with stethoscopes, and their televised “assessments” reveal more about their loyalty to an agenda than any medical reality.
