Democrats have a serious problem on their hands, and most of them don’t even see it coming. The media is gushing over the “No Kings” protests and anti-ICE riots, and they want us to believe that public opinion is turning against Donald Trump, that this huge movement is on the verge of toppling Trump, or something stupid like that. Just because the radical left has plenty of people who have nothing better to do on a Saturday, that doesn’t mean that they reflect the views of mainstream America. But, again, the left has bigger problems.
A bombshell new poll that TIPP conducted for the League of American Workers has Democrats in a panic. Nearly six in 10 registered voters are cheering on Trump's deportation pace, especially when it comes to booting criminals first. But here's the kicker that's got to have liberals reaching for their emotional support animals: it's Hispanic voters leading the charge.
The poll found that 53% of Hispanic voters support Trump's approach, with 27% of them strongly backing it.
But the hits keep coming for the party of open borders. Across every generation, Americans are backing Trump’s policy of deporting criminal illegal aliens, and the numbers aren’t even close. A stunning 75% of the Silent Generation support it, followed by 64% of Boomers, 59% of Gen X, 60% of Millennials, and even half of Gen Z. That’s not a partisan outlier; that’s a nationwide consensus.
But perhaps the bigger question is party breakdown.
Would you believe that 34% of Democrats support Trump’s policy? That’s a huge deal. When roughly a third of your own party is siding with Trump on this issue, you might want to reconsider your strategy.
The poll also asked about "gotaways" — illegals who slip past border security. Under Trump, these numbers have plummeted by 95% compared to Biden's disaster. Sixty-five percent of voters give Trump the credit, including 61% of Hispanic respondents. Ouch.
Even black voters are jumping ship on this issue, with 46% backing Trump's deportation efforts. So much for the Democrats' "coalition of the ascendant."
“As this polling makes clear, Americans chose Donald Trump precisely because of his America First approach to immigration, plus law-and-order generally,” LAW President Steve Cortes told The Daily Caller. “This survey reveals that violence and radicalism in Los Angeles and other cities only serves to reinforce the will of the people to achieve secure borders, orderly lawful migration, and peace in our streets.”
This poll is just the latest evidence that Democrats' riot-defending, ICE-bashing narrative is collapsing faster than a house of cards in a hurricane. The writing is on the wall: Americans want law and order, secure borders, and leaders who actually lead instead of making excuses for chaos. Trump's delivering exactly that, and even the Democrats' supposed base is taking notice.
