Make no mistake—this is our moment. After decades of disastrous trade deals, supply chain sellouts, and bipartisan cowardice in the face of communist China’s aggression, the Trump administration is doing what should have been done long ago: confronting Beijing head-on. This isn’t just talk—it’s action. And it’s long overdue. If we don’t follow through now, we may never have a chance to do so again.
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller didn’t mince words during his appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo. He made it abundantly clear that the administration understands the stakes. China isn’t just a competitor—it’s a hostile regime engaged in full-spectrum economic warfare against the United States. From manipulating currency and stealing intellectual property to flooding our markets with cheap goods and dominating critical supply chains, China has exploited our openness and our complacency for far too long.
"History will record that the actions President Trump has taken in recent days were the beginning of saving the West from complete economic domination by another power," Miller said.

Obviously, the liberal media is having a meltdown over Trump's latest round of tariffs, but Miller exposed the real scandal here—how China has been systematically destroying American industry for decades while previous presidents just watched it happen.
"These are state-led policies from China that require redress," Miller explained. "And the only scandal is that it took so long for us to finally have a president in Donald Trump who will protect and defend America from these abuses, while every other president, Democrat and Republican, allowed China to plunder us to a degree that was so savage and so total, it honestly eclipses the imagination."
But what's particularly concerning is how China has manipulated our supply chains. Miller called it "shameful" that America has allowed "core elements" of our critical supply chains to be based in China, warning that giving "China the ability to exert that kind of control over the rest of the world through these illicit means" is "unthinkable."
Miller's assessment perfectly captures what's really happening here. China has spent decades engaging in intellectual property theft, currency manipulation, and industrial espionage. They've systematically targeted and destroyed our manufacturing capabilities, leaving us vulnerable during national emergencies.
The markets may be jittery about Trump's tough stance on China, but sometimes medicine tastes bitter. The real question isn't whether these tariffs might cause some short-term economic discomfort—it's whether we're going to finally stand up to China's economic warfare against the United States.

Trump is doing what needs to be done to protect American interests. The days of China taking advantage of the United States are finally coming to an end.
And that's something worth fighting for, no matter what the liberal media says.
