The Biden-Harris Administration Has More Blood On Their Hands

"From the moment Hamas kidnapped these people, I, along with my team, have worked around the clock to secure their release,” Joe Biden said back in November.

We're now weeks away from the one-year anniversary of the October 7 terror attack on Israel, and Hamas still has over 100 hostages, and this weekend, Israeli forces recovered the bodies of six hostages in Gaza, including one American citizen, Hersh Goldberg-Polin. The efforts to obtain the release of the hostages have been a spectacular failure, but, rest assured, the Biden-Harris is working "around the clock" to secure their release.

Biden was relaxing on a beach just yesterday.

The weakness of the Biden-Harris administration is to blame. We know this because we've seen how our enemies respond to strong leadership.

For 444 days, starting on November 4, 1979, 53 American diplomats and citizens were held captive in Tehran, Iran. It was a crisis that severely damaged Jimmy Carter’s presidency. The release of the hostages finally happened moments after Ronald Reagan took office on January 20, 1981. The timing of the hostages' release, just minutes after Reagan's inauguration, was no coincidence. The Iranian government feared Reagan's strength over Carter, whom they saw as weak.

In stark contrast, the Biden-Harris administration's response to the recent hostage crisis in Gaza shows a glaring weakness in leadership. With American citizens trapped in a volatile region controlled by terrorists, Biden and Harris have shown little progress in securing their release. Instead of projecting strength, their administration seems more focused on appeasement and diplomacy with Hamas, a terrorist organization, while simultaneously condemning Israel for alleged human rights violotians. This only emboldens Hamas.

The difference is clear: where Reagan's decisive and firm posture led to a swift resolution, Biden and Harris's weakness and attacks on Israel have left American hostages vulnerable, further demonstrating their administration's impotence on the global stage.

The last American hostage released from Gaza was Abigail Edan, a four-year-old girl. Why has there been so little progress since then? Well, make no mistake about it, her release was anything but random. She is the great-niece of Liz Hirsh Naftali—a major Democratic donor, Biden campaign supporter, and a Biden appointee. Naftali is also one of the individuals who purchased Hunter Biden’s artwork, which raises serious questions about the motives behind her release.

So, my question is, what is the Biden-Harris administration doing? Have they even been trying to obtain the release of hostages since they got the great-niece of a Biden donor out?

"As Vice President, I have no higher priority than the safety of American citizens, wherever they are in the world," Kamala Harris said in a statement Saturday about Hersh Goldberg-Polin. "President Biden and I will never waver in our commitment to free the Americans and all those held hostage in Gaza."

It's outrageous that after nearly a year of alleged "around the clock" efforts by the Biden-Harris administration, the situation remains unchanged. Biden's constant claims about his administration working tirelessly to free the hostages ring hollow, especially now that another American hostage has been killed.

The remaining hostages have little reason to feel hope about their release with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in charge. If Kamala Harris wins in November, I fear that their fate won't be a happy ending.
