The Deep State Will Have to Be Destroyed

Donald Trump could win the 2024 election in a huge landslide, but if the Deep State is not destroyed, that victory will almost be completely symbolic.

The Deep State, of course, refers to a powerful network of individuals within the government, including entrenched bureaucrats, intelligence officials, and elements within various agencies operating behind the scenes to influence policy and decisions, even in direct opposition to the policies of the administration — as we saw during Trump's first term.

The media has long scoffed at warnings about the dangers of the Deep State or even its very existence. But it is real. Independent journalist Millie Weaver recently detailed how the federal government conspired to subvert Donald Trump.

According to a recording of a two-hour-long secret meeting that took place less than a week before the 2020 election, "a group of subversive Marxists inside the U.S. federal government, military, intelligence community, and White House in participation with far-left protest organizations and Union leaders" began to pre-plan coup scenarios and advise federal workers how to secretly subvert the government from the inside.

Despite quoting Trump as saying that he'd 100% commit to a peaceful transfer of power and accept the results of a free and fair election, the leader of the meeting, Maddy Salzman, who was with the Department of Energy at the time, seemed to ignore that fact, instead suggesting that unless every ballot was counted, the election itself would be a coup d'état that the Deep State would have to respond to.

"I also wanna be upfront that it is a coup to refuse to honor the results of a free and fair election," Salzman told the participants of the call. "It is not a coup to act against a government or officials who are trying to prevent a legitimate transfer of power. We believe that every vote must count, we must count every vote, and we must take action to protect democracy."

Every vote, not every legitimate vote.

"Thwarting a coup is not the same thing as a coup, it's protecting democracy," she explained. "There's going to be a lot of narratives around what is happening, what should be happening, what do things mean, and I think it's really important to be centered in what any of us know is right."

Keep in mind that Trump had yet to contest the results of the election because it hadn't happened yet. One could almost infer from this that they knew there would be things that Trump would take issue with and that not accepting the results would be a de facto coup.

There's nothing suspicious about that at all.

I've barely scratched the surface here, but this information alone is incredibly troubling.

Not everyone involved in the call may still be in government, but you can imagine how extensive this network of subverters in our government really is. These are people who, even if Trump wins, will work behind the scenes to undermine him.

That cannot happen.

“Either the deep state destroys America or we destroy the deep state,” Trump has said on the campaign trail. “When this election is over, I will be the president of the United States. You will be vindicated and proud, and the thugs and criminals who are corrupting our justice system will be defeated, discredited, and totally disgraced.”

And he's right. The only chance our country has to survive is to destroy the Deep State.
