Iranian Officials Fear Kim Kardashian Could Be a Secret Agent

Kim Kardashian has been accused of many things in her 35 years. This latest charge may be the wackiest.

The Selfie Queen is under attack from an unlikely source – the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. Its Organized Cyberspace Crimes Unit (OCCU) is well aware of the reality star’s social media footprint.

It’s hardly a dainty size 5.

The group thinks all of her revealing photos and comments, the kind that routinely “break the Internet,” are part of something more sinister.

To quote US Weeky magazine, the pics are meant to “purposefully corrupt Iranian women by posting provocative selfies and snapshots.” And she’s teamed up with the popular social media site Instagram to make it all happen.

And we all thought Kardashian made her millions by flaunting her assets in the most digitally thorough way possible.

“These schemes originate from around the Persian Gulf and England. When you draw the operational graph, you will see that it is a foreign operation. Ms. Kim Kardashian is a popular fashion model so Instagram’s CEO tells her, ‘make this native.’ There is no doubt that financial support is involved as well. We are taking this very seriously.”

But will Mrs. Kanye West take any of this seriously?

Yet the Iranian group is serious about the star’s social media impact. Vanity Fair says the OCCU wants to arrest those responsible for Facebook pages with which it doesn’t agree. That could keep the Islamic nation busy for some time. Although, thanks to some heavy-handed editing, those officials won’t have to weed through as many right-leaning pages.

Maybe Kardashian can truly help her country far more than distracting us from a sluggish economy and leaders who manipulated the press on a major Iranian treaty.

She can crank out so many voluptuous selfies on social media she keeps Iranian officials too busy to hound its own citizens. Or much worse.

In the meantime, she doesn’t seem too distracted by the charges. She spent much of this week thanking her merchandising partners on Twitter. She also saved some cyber room for what she does best.

Here’s one of her most recent photo tweets:

Kim Kardashian. Selfies queen. Reality show staple. Patriot.
