Is Surfing The Internet Altering Your Brain?

A UCLA neuroscientist has discovered that surfing the Net and text messaging affects the brain, making it more adept at filtering information and making snap decisions.  Researchers say that tech has created a new environment that is influencing how brains develop — and that web surfing can actually alter neural pathway development. The study believes that future top performers will find the balance between tech and social skills as the digital world evolves. While the revelation is a long way from the Darwinian “adapt or die”, the accelerated environment does seem to be creeping closer to the neural overload of Max Headroon “blip-verts”. The more digital things get, the more analog I become.
