There's Got to be a Morning After

And that’s usually when CNN considers it safe to remind their few remaining viewers trapped in airport departure lounges that they failed to inform them about who they were voting for.

Tammy Bruce tweets:

“CNN, silly gooses! Asking this question after an election! ‘Who is Florida’s Rick Scott?'”

But then, back in December of 2008, CNN’s Jonathan Mann compared President-Elect Barack Obama to a litany of  earlier presidents ranging form Lincoln to FDR to Bill Clinton, before concluding:

The Americans who are comparing him to those remarkable predecessors are putting a lot of faith in a man they barely know.

To paraphrase up and coming blogger W. Shakespeare, the fault, dear Jonathan, lies not in our voters, but in our network underlings.
