This is our version of the delicious Left Bank Whiskey Sour served as one of their signature drinks last summer, not surprisingly at The Left Bank in Santana Row, San Jose, California.
- 4 oz Willett’s or other very smooth small batch bourbon
- 1 oz Leopold’s peach liquor (again or other good peach liquor)
- 2 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tbs peach preserves
- 2 egg whites
- Crushed ice for shaking
Shake all of the ingredients for a LONG time in a chilled shaker. Shake a little longer.
Strain into chilled brandy snifters and garnish with a slice of orange or a cherry.
