To me, one of the key takeaways from many of the pages in Anthony Fauci‘s work journal, which he kept during the time he was serving as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, is his unbridled arrogance. Not only that, but we also see many references to the arrogance of other celebrities, media figures, and government officials. This really is the type of aristocratic oligarchy that America’s Founders were hoping to prevent from ever arising here.
Egotistical beyond belief, breaking all the rules they hysterically demand others follow, dictatorial, unaccountable, corrupt, self-serving, powerful, and unpatriotic — this describes most of the political, business, and media elite of America today. Our Founders hoped that by establishing a constitutional republic, forbidding the use of aristocratic titles, and splitting up political power among multiple entities and both state and federal governments, they were going to ensure that America lasted a long time without becoming an oligarchy. But it was always, as Ben Franklin said, “a Republic if you can keep it.”
The entry from August 2022 that you see below has raised particular controversy among conservatives because it proves that Fauci knew perfectly well the COVID vaccines were not effective, and yet he was preventing the government from saying so purely so that the mandates and boosters could continue. But I think it also illustrates how incredibly confident Fauci and his closest allies were that they would never face accountability. Rochelle Walensky might’ve been in some danger of losing her job, though in fact she did not resign for many months afterwards. But the assumption among Biden officials was that no matter how much they lied to the American people, no matter how many obviously harmful and unconstitutional policies they enforced, there would never be any consequences such as jail time or even election loss.

The sad part is that, to a certain extent, they are right. Not even the current administration will ever arrest bureaucrats and politicians who hold titles and sat in high office, because even Republicans operate in an oligarchical mentality now, where we only enforce the law on people without political and media clout. Such oligarchs might occasionally lose elections or sometimes their jobs, but they will likely never go to prison. Of course, I would be delighted if the Trump administration and the current Congress decided to prove me wrong and charged Fauci.

Below is another passage from Fauci’s ramblings, where you see him gloating over the coverage of himself in the media, at a time when millions of people had lost jobs, scholarships, in-person schooling, weddings, and the ability to be with dying loved ones. And if you really have a strong stomach, you could read about his fangirl calls with Barbara Streisand. In all these instances, note the total elitist indifference to the suffering of most Americans. Fauci and Streisand had all kinds of special privileges and opportunities to break lockdown rules because of how wealthy and influential they are. The media hacks who glorified Fauci assured the Americans whose lives were indefinitely on hold that it was all for the greater good.

Anthony Fauci pleaded the Fifth Amendment over 100 times during his most recent congressional hearing in spite of his presidential pardon, not only because he has so much to hide, but because he assumes he will never have to suffer anything more than an uncomfortable few hours in the Senate. Like Joe Biden, Ilhan Omar, Barack Obama, Jane Fonda, Deborah Birx, Bill Gates, George Soros, Mark Zuckerberg, Ayanna Pressley, Kamala Harris, Don Lemon, and all the other petty dictators and celebrities, Fauci not only believes he is above the law, but that he should always be above the law because he is inherently superior to all the peasants.
