Soon after Defending Education exposed the United Teachers of Los Angeles (UTLA) union for using public resources to organize anti-ICE propaganda, “resistance,” and protection for illegal alien families, Los Angeles students engaged in a violent Friday protest against federal immigration officers.
Indeed, the protest grew so out of control at one point that students ended up injuring a federal officer. Quite simply, teachers and school staff are using taxpayer money to turn their students into leftist domestic terrorists.
The Los Angeles Police Department posted a very brief message on X a little before 5 pm EST on Feb. 13, “LAFD [sic] responding to a Federal Agent who was injured during the incident. Demonstration is marching Southbound on Alameda towards Temple.” It is not clear exactly how seriously the agent was injured.

Again, this is all attributable to Los Angeles politicians and educators who have dedicated themselves to fanning the flames of hatred against immigration enforcement. From the "self-defense" training against ICE and networks to report and interfere with ICE activities, organized by teachers, to politicians' perpetual lies about whom ICE is targeting, we see the root cause of the violence.
By the way, 18 U.S. Code § 111 makes it a federal crime to interfere with or resist immigration officers in the execution of their duties. And 8 U.S. Code § 1324 criminalizes deliberately protecting or harboring illegal aliens. So even before committing the assault on the federal officer, the Los Angeles students were quite possibly committing a crime.

And certainly the students, like their teachers, do not in the least regard whether their behavior is illegal. The illegal aliens and the law-breaking Americans are all banded together in one great, vicious confederacy to victimize law-abiding Americans and law enforcement. This is what passes for "activism" and "education" nowadays. And yet many of the criminals passionately believe that they are the virtuous, laudable, and compassionate ones.
Notably, EdSource states that the Los Angeles Unified School District’s (LAUSD) average for proficiency in math is about 36%, with 46% proficiency in English. So probably a significant number of these student activists who injured the agent are practically illiterate. They will graduate with almost no knowledge and very poor math and language skills, but they will be on fire with virulent enthusiasm for whatever cause their Democrat overlords are pushing this month.
And of course, this is why Democrats do not want to improve the education system, why they keep actively making it worse. They want as many people as possible to be illiterate, ignorant, and incompetent, and therefore much more vulnerable to ridiculous propaganda. Young people, such as Los Angeles public school students, are not being taught how to think, but what to think — or preferably, to act based on trigger words without any thinking at all. It’s the mental and educational plantation of the modern Democrat aristocrats.
