The ideology most responsible for global terrorism today is Islam. And the biggest internal political threat to America is the Democratic Party.
Yesterday, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated by an unidentified shooter, though reports claim that the cartridges recovered from the scene had messages about transgenderism and anti-fascism. Even if those reports turn out to be false, it is safe to say that the Democratic Party fueled this tragedy by spending years calling Kirk and everyone like him the most horrible names and accusing them of horrific crimes — heck, lefty media continued to do it while he was dying. The tragedy yesterday was made possible by Democrats, just as we can say with certainty that the 9/11 attacks were caused by the evil ideology inherent in Islam.
There are numerous historical events to which we could point this week of fighting oppression and hostile invasion, including Scots hero William Wallace’s victory at Stirling Bridge (Sept.11, 1297), the American victory at Lake Erie (Sept.10, 1813), and the Battle of Marathon where Greeks defeated Persians (est. Sept.12, 490 BC). But three anniversaries stand out in particular in light of my above comments about domestic terrorism and Islamic terrorism.

First of all, we all already know what today is — 9/11. Nineteen Islamic terrorists killed nearly 3,000 Americans in Pennsylvania, New York, and Washington, D.C. It was one of the formative and heartbreaking events in American history. The world has never been the same since. And yet as horrific as it was, somehow many Americans did not learn their lesson about the threat of Islamic terrorism. There are still millions of Americans insisting that Islam is a religion of peace, even as hundreds of thousands of Muslims rape, assault, oppress, and kill people around the globe.
Then, a little over a decade later, we had a reason to recall both the heinousness of Islamic terrorism and the destructive nature of Democrat policies (it is no coincidence or mistake that Democrats are so enamored of Islam). On Sept. 11, 2012, Americans abandoned by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were killed in Benghazi by an al-Qaeda-linked group. Yet Clinton faced no consequences for what she did.
And somehow here we are in 2025 and thousands of leftists have been hysterically condemning Israel specifically and Jews in general while glorifying Islam and Hamas jihadis. Not only that, but numerous leftists gloated over Kirk’s murder.
The West and Christian nations globally used to be more awake to the threat of Islam. On Sept. 8, 1380, Russia won a key victory over the Islamized Mongol invaders. From Raymond Ibrahim:
After hours of fierce fighting and despite heavy casualties, the Russians, with the aid of hidden cavalry that had charged out of the surrounding thick woods, managed to rout the Muslims. Thus the Battle of Kulikovo shattered the myth of Mongol invincibility and bestowed great honor on Moscow.
Furthermore, the Battle of Zenta on Sept. 11, 1697, was a major victory for the Christian Holy League against the Muslim Ottomans, ending the expansion of the latter.
A few hundred years ago, Christians knew that Islam‘s teachings are blasphemous and endorse evils like murder and rape. Why are we so determined not to admit that today? Is it because of the power that Democrats hold over our institutions?
