Democrats’ violent rhetoric appears to have turned deadly on Wednesday night, as two Israeli diplomats were shot down in cold blood by a crazy man who then started screaming, “Free Palestine!” Are we careening toward Holocaust 2.0 as Democrats encourage violent antisemitism and Republicans seem unwilling to take any decisive measures?
Freezing some federal funding for a few colleges is not sufficient. The man who murdered the Israeli diplomats needs to get the death penalty, and all schools and organizations that receive federal funding need to have the entirety of that funding cut off immediately until they eschew all antisemitic rhetoric. We have no obligation to fund violent prejudice with taxpayer dollars. In fact, it is our obligation not to do so. How many victims have to fall before we, including Donald Trump with his generous deals for Israel-hating Syrian terrorists, realize we are encouraging a situation ripe for murder?

The Nazi Holocaust didn’t begin with the gas chambers. It began with antisemitic rhetoric, encouragement of virulent hatred, riots against Jews, and ultimately the mass arrests and murder. Oct. 7, 2023, was the most deadly day for Jews since the Holocaust. We are rushing headlong toward a second Holocaust, and this time, all Western nations are complicit.
[Fox News] The Embassy of Israel to the US identified the victims as Yaron Lischinsky [a Christian Israeli] and Sarah Milgrim, who were set to be engaged…A 30-year-old man identified as Elias Rodriguez, of Chicago, is believed to have committed the act alone and is in custody, Smith said, adding that his gun was also recovered… Rodriguez was allegedly observed pacing back and forth outside the museum before he approached a group of four people exiting the building, including the two victims, and began shooting.
He then entered the museum where he was detained by event security. While in custody, he yelled "Free, free Palestine!" Smith said.
The young man had bought a ring and was planning to propose to the young woman when their lives were so brutally cut short by an evil, Jew-hating maniac. Nothing less than the death penalty must be meted out to the killer, who is reportedly a Communist radical.

It almost sounds like a modern speech you could hear in Congress or on campus in America, but if you guessed that Hitler said it, you would be right. The bracketed words replace “Germany”. And yet, decades after the Holocaust, Berlin police have told Jews not to enter some parts of the city taken over by Muslim migrants. And in America, the most we’ve done is freeze some of a handful of universities’ federal funding and issue some statements against antisemitism.
You cannot welcome in loads of Muslim migrants and teach American students to think terrorism is justified against Jews without inspiring violent crime. Every politician who has encouraged or ignored anti-Israel rhetoric has blood on his hands.
