Huma Abedin Weiner will reportedly take a break from her fake job with Hillary Clinton.
Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s transition office chief and the wife of embattled New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner, is expected to take extended vacation time from her job with the former first lady in the coming days, sources told POLITICO.
What “transition” are we talking about here? Clinton hasn’t been SoS since January. John Kerry has been ably embarrassing the United States in her old job for months now. It’s not like Clinton is actually doing anything, other than plotting to take over the country in a few years. She needs a “transition chief” for that? Whatever transition she’s scheming for is about four years away.
It was a loose plan [Huma] had for weeks, since Hillary Clinton has close to no schedule next month – the Clintons are expected to vacation in the monied East Hampton enclave on Long Island – and Abedin had been expected to take the final few weeks leading up to the mayoral primary to be with her husband.
It would be nice to know what Huma is actually being paid to do. She had this great gig when Hillary was Secretary of State, where she supposedly worked full time for the government while she also worked full time for Teneo, on whose board sits a Bill Clinton confidante. Yet she could work for both from home. She failed to disclose the Teneo work, yet was never subjected to any discipline for that. It’s all quite a step up from the days when Abedin worked directly in the Islamist supremacy industry.
One thing is certain at least. She isn’t being paid to make her husband’s campaign sane. That probably can’t be done. The Weiner campaign ruptured Tuesday when a former intern penned a tell-all for the NY Daily News. That earned the former intern, Olivia Nuzzi, insults from Weiner communications director Barbara Morgan. Lots of insults. All of them sexually suggestive and highly profane.
Yet Miss Nuzzi probably cannot expect a phone call of consolation from President Obama. She isn’t playing the role of useful tool begging for taxpayer-funded birth control, so she’s on her own here.
Protip for communications directors out there, left and right: Don’t get profane. Just don’t. With anyone. Ever. It puts you in all sorts of uncomfortable positions. And it’s unprofessional.
While we’re on the subject of Weiner and women, by now everyone knows that Sydney Leathers, Weiner’s sext partner, is a “dates for dollars” kinda girl. This news casts Weiner’s proposal for a Chicago “sex dungeon” proposal in a whole new light, doesn’t it?
Leathers brags about milking her sugar daddy’s for cash. Was Weiner among those men who were sending her money?
