Kloppenburg ends up ahead by 204 votes, 740,090 to 739,886 for Prosser. Wisconsin law allows for a free recount if the vote is within 300 votes, so it’s very likely on to a recount. However that goes, Prosser’s term still has almost four months to go, and the recount + litigation may go well past that.
