Birmingham’s Flag fatwa
The Birmingham Supreme Sharia Council of the Caliphate, otherwise known as Birmingham City Council, has had it up to here with the “flag raisers” in its midst who think they have some right to go around hanging symbols of hate, British flags, on public roads, which greatly offends migrant sensibilities.

Accordingly, the council is seeking an injunction (fatwa) against the practice of erecting said British flags in public.

Birmingham city council is seeking an injunction to stop members of an anti-migrant group* from erecting flags, including union jack and St George’s flags, on public infrastructure across the city.
A nationwide campaign to give prominence to the England flag, which resulted in thousands of St George’s crosses being flown from lamp-posts, roundabouts and other public infrastructure, is believed to have started last summer in Birmingham.
The “Raise the Colours” campaign has polarised opinion, with some viewing the flags as a sign of patriotism, while others have criticised it as a display of nationalism aimed at intimidating minority ethnic people. In July, Birmingham residents accused the city council of giving “free rein” to flag raisers…
On Wednesday, Birmingham city council said it was pursuing legal action to stop the raising of flags, based on evidence it had gathered, including incidents that involved harassment, intimidation or obstruction of staff who were tasked with removing them. The council’s application named the co-founder of the Raise the Colours campaign, Ryan Bridge, as well as seven others and “persons unknown”.
The Green party councillor Jane Baston, Birmingham city council’s cabinet member for equalities, communities and social justice, said: “The council is taking a lawful, proportionate and evidence-led approach to unauthorised attachments on the highway. This includes pursuing injunctive action based on the evidence gathered to date.
*Right out of the gate, The Guardian makes no effort to hide where its sympathies lie — and it’s not with the British. Rather than describing Raise the Colours as a “patriot group” or even just using neutral language, it derides them as “anti-migrant,” the obvious implication being that holding an “anti-migrant sentiment is somehow immoral and illogical.

Uppity migrant and mainstream state media starlet Narinder Kaur insists that the flag ban is totally independent from the fact that Birmingham has been taken over by militant Pakistanis who aggressively despise their host nation:

So spare me the insinuation that Birmingham is doing this because it has a large Pakistani community. The law doesn't change depending on the ethnicity of the people living there**. You don't own the lamppost. You don't own the highway. And flying a Union Jack doesn't give you the right to commandeer public property.

**The law absolutely changes, and is applied differently, based on the ethnic makeup of the local population. Case in point: this very injunction essentially banning the British flag in what was formerly a British city.

Henry Nowak could’ve told you all about unequal application of law based on ethnicity with his final breaths, as he lay bleeding out onto the cold concrete because a Sikh migrant stabbed him and then lied to the coppers about having been hate-crimed.
The British police, trained as they are to hold the British public in contempt, reflexively believed the migrant and handcuffed Nowak, leaving him unaided on the ground until he expired.
Alas, Henry can’t tell the story, so I will.
