Joy Reid: Anti-ICE Karens secretly long for ICE to gun down minorities
Literally nothing is ever good enough for these people.
As a couple of commenters on a previous edition of “Anti-ICE Karens Gone Wild!” suggested they might start doing, these people could literally self-immolate to protest illegal ethnic migrants getting deported — to no avail, in that Joy Reid would still find a way to smear them as racist even as they martyr themselves in the name of anti-racism.

White people want to have the privilege and they want to have non-white people get hurt, but they don't want to have to have to watch it. They don't want to have their souls implicated in it. And so because they’re now watching their gardener*… they don’t want to watch John Lewis get beat, they just want him to get beat without them having to see it and having to be accountable for it.
*Joy — whose mother and father, by the way, are migrants from Guyana and the Congo, respectively, and therefore has no real shared historical roots with the enslaved Africans brought to America four hundred years ago — betrays the ivory tower lifestyle she enjoys here.
How many people do you know who have their own personal migrant gardeners? Probably not a lot, as having a personal migrant gardener for your estate is a perk available exclusively to the upper-middle-class economic echelons and beyond.
The middle- and working-class whites who’ve had their economic livelihoods destroyed in part by mass-migration, neoliberal trade policies, and other projects of the ruling class that Joy advocates while posturing as Harriet Tubman don’t have personal migrant gardeners — but, guaranteed, Joy does, and so do all of the white friends in her social circle who venerate her and whom, in turn, she obviously hates.

How is the oppressed BIPOC freedom fighter Joy Reid living?
Is she holed up in a mountain compound like a Cuban revolutionary?

Reid’s main residence is located in the suburban city of Pembroke Pines, part of the Greater Fort Lauderdale area. The suburb has attracted many high-profile people thanks to its upscale amenities, excellent schools, and abundant recreation options…
Pembroke Pines offers residents a quiet suburban atmosphere just outside the hustle and bustle of Miami. Gated communities are common in the area, allowing public figures like Reid to maintain privacy and security. Outdoor recreation like golf and boating is plentiful, while dining and shopping options abound.
All of that creature comfort is enough to atrophy the revolutionary zeal of even the most stalwart comrade.

In a way, though, the Race Lady, with her culturally appropriated blonde hair, is right: the anti-ICE Karens do, deep down inside, desire ICE to kill colored people — but not because they hate them.
As one of them explained in the first installment of this serial, the anti-ICE Karens experience a visceral discomfort protesting on behalf of a white woman, Renee Good, who is not the preferred ethnicity for victims of White Supremacist™ government oppression.
They’ll make lemonade out of the dead white lady lemon, for sure, but the real prize would be a dead Somali trans person or something they can really sink their teeth into — a true victim worthy of protest.
