   The guy was fired (which in itself, getting fired while being a member of a public sector union, is remarkable) in 2008. Four plus years later he decides to take it out on them? He doesn’t do the normal route of filing a lawsuit, however outrageous the claim might be?

   LAPD does have its problems, but this guy was mentally ill.
