Yesterday “Carlito” commented on my post about the Federal government’s hiring frenzy:
Typical anti-Obama bullshit.
Duh . . . how many federal employees retired or otherwise left federal employment during the same time period?
You do know that you have to subtract those people from the equation, don’t you?

You want numbers, Carlito? OK, I have some numbers for you. This chart is rather illuminating.
Wow. And we can’t pin the blame on the military, as vile progs are wont to do, because military employment has been essentially flat since 2009 — and is slated to shrink. Minus the Post Office, which is supposedly a private entity, total federal employment is up almost a quarter million.
Which is just typical Obama bullshit, Carlito.
I think I see the source of the problem. Carlito meant to use an em-dash between “anti” and “Obama” but doesn’t know html and didn’t consider how the hyphen changed the meaning of his comment.
And what’s wrong with being anti-Obama? It’s not personal, but I despise his policies and marxist world-view.

Add to this the ‘celebrations’ over the Unemployment rate dropping because even more people stopped looking for a job and we get “Carlito” thought. The population has grown a lot and our work force is smaller than it’s been since the mid to late 90′s and to a leftiod, that’s a good thing.
Simple Math, the most conservative of all the sciences.
I’ve been in the private sector for years. We’ve only hired to replace terminations/retirements since 2008.
We have gobs of work to do, but my company is just slogging along with current staffing levels.
Only one thing is clogging up hiring: the continued uncertainty over how much new regulations and benefits raise the cost of doing business beyond the point of being profitable.
The Federal government, since they are unconcerned with turning a profit, have no such hinderances.
Isn’t “carlito” the alias Neal Rauhauser used to drive Barrett Brown into threatening an FBI agent?
