Just Half the Facts, Ma’am

Here’s the big NBC World News headline this morning, along with the image they chose to run directly under it.

Meanwhile, Hamas continues to launch missiles at Tel Aviv (which some might also consider to be “heavily populated”) from launching sites at mosques and schoolyards and markets.
To be fair though, NBC did have this to say about missiles:
A missile strike on a truck killed three members of the radical Islamic Jihad group, Hamas security officials told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
Good. Although I’m forced to assume there’s another side to this story. Somewhere.

I was watching the St. Louis news after football last night and they also talked about the fighting. The only information they gave was that Israeli strikes had killed several women/civilians. No mention of the rocket attacks on Israel, no mention of missiles being launched from the residential areas as to generate propaganda once they’re retaliated on. If I knew nothing else about this, I would have assumed Israel was just randomly launching missiles into residential zones.
ABC Radio News has been similarly one-sided.
