Good News from the Middle East
Sure, it happens sometimes — thanks to the Israelis, of course. Anyway, an IAF air strike has killed Hamas military leader Ahmed Jabari:
Jabari, who is the most senior Hamas official to be killed since an Israeli invasion of Gaza four years ago, was killed in an air strike on a vehicle, in a dramatic resumption of Israel’s policy of assassinating Palestinian militant leaders.
Jabari has long topped Israel’s most-wanted list, the Associated Press reported, and was blamed for in a string of attacks, including the kidnapping of Israeli soldier Gilad Schalit in 2006.
Hamas has warned that Israel “has opened the gates of hell.”
Biatches, I just lived through Obama’s reelection. Bring it on.

Hello. My name is Barack Obama, and I’ll be your guide today.
To paraphrase the late-great Sam Kinison( discussing meeting Satan at the gates of hell)
“So, I see you’ve got quite a file here, blah, blah, blah, oh here it is, I see you’ve been married! well I guess all of this is really old hat to you isn’t it? Not very much going to scare you in here down here is there, hey Ive got an idea! you want a job?”
An airstrike that leaves the front end of the car basically intact? Missiles must be getting very small.
Humans are remarkably soft and squishy. A great part of the technological revolution in the military is the ability to correctly time and aim small precision guided munitions. This way, for example, Israel can selectively destroy targets with no collateral damage. For the bad guys, this is very scary.
Indeed. Makes it harder to claim civilian casualties to places like the New York Times.
Unless they do their own part to bump up the numbers.
And I wouldn’t put the latter past them. When you make growing up to be a suicide bomber the best career path, then you’ll do anything. Romney was right that it’s an inferior culture.
Actually, suicide bombers make for a horrible culture, because they seek death and not life.
I’d love to ask pro-palestinian supporters about the birthrate/mortality rate amongst Palestinians. And then watch them fumble about and try to blame it on Israeli fluoride or something.
Those sneaky Israelies, stealing the Palestinians’ precious bodily fluids!
Little missiles exist. And if the target can be lased, it can be hit.

I don’t think Hamas was paying attention to which way the gates were swinging.
I like this game for Israel. They should keep shooting at things until the Palestinians get the picture: you can’t beat Israel, period.
Overheard at Hamas HQ, “How deep is your bunker, Bro?” Rumours persist that the Cairo Sheraton has booked a dozen resevations from the Hamas leadership.
I just lived through Obama’s reelection/
That’s the Gate.
Step in. Your descend will be fast and furious. There will be no more you after four years. Enjoy as much as you can while you can.
It’s a start.
