This is How You Measure Intensity

Breitbart: Romney draws 30,000 at Ohio event while Obama gets 2,800. This would be a good time to remind you that Obama couldn’t draw 30,000 to his own DNC acceptance speech.
If Obama’s machine can’t turn them out for a rally, I’m not certain how they’ll get turned out to vote. Especially since Obama’s early voting efforts are eating his Election Day seed corn. Meanwhile, Bill Clinton spent all of yesterday in Pennsylvania.
I don’t want to hear any more talk about how PA is some sort of act of desperation on Romney’s part. The flop sweat is all on the other side in this final weekend.

Palin had record crowds at many of her VP events. I loved the one I attended in Raleigh, NC. Very high energy, great crowd attitude.
To my dismay, and many others, that was no indication of the final result.
Here is to hoping we BHO is fired Tuesday!
McCain suspended his campaign a la Perot. Remember that?
Soon we’ll be seeing Obama crowds rivaling those of Sandra Fluke, numbering in the tens.
Ron, Palin’s crowds were big, but Obama’s crowds were bigger in 2008. We are not seeing the second part of Obama’s base of support from 2008 be replicated, and poll after poll shows that Obama’s 2008 level of support has shrunk by an order of magnitude. Romney, in contrast, has enlarged his base of support in ways McCain could never have.
The one problem I have with the “eating their seed corn” argument is that I’ve seen no actual evidence of this. The only support (or claim, for that matter) for this comes from a Republican group. They’ve not provided proof of any kind.
I’m dearly hoping that they’re right. But I’m highly skeptical at this point.
Still mostly anecdotal, but this may be a bit more solid. I’m still not convinced, but perhaps a bit less skeptical.
speaking as a PA resident, I’d agree with that last “flop-sweat” comment. all the enthusiasm i see here in the keystone state is among cons and indies who are dying to oust the The One. No one is at the level of “yeah, we got this,” but we’re definitely optimistic about our chances of bringing real change in this election.
The size of these rallies unfortunately has a lower force multiplier for Republicans because the MSM will repress the numbers.
