Shocker of the day: Obama admits to some mistakes in his campaign ads.
I guess it’s time for me to come clean that I have a fondness for the occasional adult beverage.
Shocker of the day: Obama admits to some mistakes in his campaign ads.
I guess it’s time for me to come clean that I have a fondness for the occasional adult beverage.
You neglected to mention that CBS did not broadcast the admission.
You already know why.
“I guess it’s time for me to come clean that I have a fondness for the occasional adult beverage.”
Next you’ll be telling us that Scott Ott is a really nice guy and Bill Whittle is a total aviation/space geek.
The ad that I just saw tonight continues the trend. Quotes Romney re: stopping corporate cheating, then says Obama stepped in to raise tariffs on Chinese firm importing tires to the US. Romney is quoted as saying that kind of protectionism is bad and harmful to US companies. Finally the ad ends by asking how can Romney stop the cheating when he sides with the cheaters. Nowhere does it say how the Chinese were supposedly cheating, just that they were selling tires cheaper than the US companies. So, US companies being unable to compete with a foreign product means the foreigners are cheaters?
While I may have issues with cheap foreign goods undercutting American products, I have greater concerns with a President whose agenda can’t be truthfully presented. A President who resorts to lies and misleading distortions in order to sway the emotions of an unthinking populace. For that matter, our having a a large portion of our population who are unthinking and easily swayed is an even greater concern.
