Chris Matthews: Unhinged
Re-unhinged? Unhingeder? Judge for yourself.
With Matthews, everything — any little thing — said or done by the GOP is “the race card.” There’s panic in his voice, in his eyes, and in the air. Delish.
But on Twitter, Politico’s Buzz Feed’s Ben Smith described it as a “shouting match,” even though GOP chair Reince Priebus wasn’t shouting at all.

A few minutes later, Smith issued a “slight correction” to note that it was only Matthews who was “screaming.” I dunno, Ben — when you say a thing happened and it didn’t happen, isn’t that worth a full retraction instead of just a “slight correction?”
Weasel.
Hat tip, Christian Heinze at The Hill, and numerous friends on Twitter who quickly forced the weaselly “correction.”

Chris Matthews is having cake and eating it too.
Demanding better behavior and rhetoric from Republicans. Speaking out against the injustices of republican speech and perversely motivated thought-crimes of their thinking.
That’s the cake he’s serving.
And here is the eating of the cake:
The more that he perceives Republicans behaving like this (Romney said ‘welfare’ and ‘food stamps’…that racist!), the more his identity is made legitimate to him. It makes him whole, no? The man decries Republicans, but loves politics and loves injecting himself, and his leg-tingle sensations, into the squishy-safe arena of talk TV politics.
Thankfully, I’m not in the mood for Chris Matthews or cake.
Chris is really emotionally invested in this, isn’t he? It’s amazing that as dumb as he is , Chris Matthews continues to get work commentating.
Chrissy is just digging himself further into irrelevancy. If it wasn’t for mockery, he’d be getting no airplay anywhere else.
Dear Chris Matthews: Go. Fuck. Yourself.
With the “tingle up my leg” comment Chris let the mask slip. With this frothing-at-the-mouth rant he has thrown it away completely. He is now in total shill territory. And the rest of the flackies at the Mostly Stupid N’ Biased Channel are right there with him.
Which is sweeter librul tears of sorrow or rage? There’ll be ample supply of both come November.
Two questions:
Why do conservatives bother with Chris Matthews at all?
And what does it take to get that man to SHUT UP and listen for answers to his ridiculous questions?
