Do Not Taunt the Tapper Fun Ball
It looks like Jake Tapper is losing his patience with President Obama:
President Obama Takes Questions from People Mag, Entertainment Tonight, Disses White House Press Corps
Disses? And that’s just the headline. Here’s some red meat:
His last news conference was at the G20 in June, when he answered six questions from three reporters on the European debt crisis, the conflict in Syria, and the notion of politics stopping at the water’s edge.
The White House press corps has not formally been given the opportunity to ask questions of the president on U.S. soil since his appearance in the Briefing Room on June 8 (when he said “the private sector is doing fine.”)
His last formal White House news conference was on March 6.
Tapper added some fair-and-balanced filler at the bottom about how Obama is still doing interviews on the campaign trail with local reporters. But, c’mon, most of those are puff-pieces.

Caesar not so sure the Praetorian Guard remains loyal?
Eh! Tapper asks a few moderately inconvenient points about Obama and we are grateful. Truth be told, Tapper could push his fist through the rotting trunk of the Obama facade without breaking a sweat. But he doesn’t.
But Tapper does have time to go after Ryan for asking for Stimulus money. Fair and Balanced! Heaven’s knows that the press has to keep them Republicans honest.
Personally, I think that Tapper’s increased chatter has more to do with the fact that he just published a book rather than some awakening desire to hold Obama accountable.
The White House Press Corps is the wait staff for this administration, they’ll know what’s on the menu when Obama tells them and then they can go serve it to whatever fool is left who listens to it seriously.
Transfat News, everybody is avoiding it except for the already hardened political artery crowd.
How can you dis a bootlicking shill? Everything in nature is above you…being called you…is the insult. You become one and you are instantly undissable.
From “comforting the afflicted and afflicting the comfortable,” the “profession” of journalism <spit> has become the Inner Court of the Federal Empire.
And Caesar Obamanobus knows too well who struck the killing blows on the Ides of March all those centuries ago.
Naw, McGehee, it’s just they’ve got totally whacked definitions of “comfortable” and “afflicted”.
Worked hard all your life, lived within your means, and seeing half your income confiscated by the government? Comfortable.
Refused the education offered you, ruined your mind with drugs, spawned a couple kids you can’t support, never worked more than you absolutely had to, and a permanent client of the welfare state? Afflicted.
