What is there to say about these numbers:
President Barack Obama leads presumed Republican nominee Mitt Romney among voters nationwide with the help of an almost 2-1 advantage among single women, according to a Quinnipiac University poll.
The survey released today shows Obama with 46 percent support, Romney with 43 percent. Single women favor Obama over Romney, 60 percent to 31 percent.
This one is pretty easy, actually. As someone who managed to convince (mumble mumble) number of women to date him despite constant bad behavior, I can tell you with complete confidence that a great many otherwise intelligent single women are total idiots when it comes to men.
Most SWF voters are living in a bubble in their college years, funded by loans that seem unreal, dreams of a future where she gets her fair share (taken from unfair men, as she is being taught), including the promise of consequence free sex just like the boys have. The single white female vote is what put Sen. Michael Bennett over the top against Ken Buck in 2010. When Bennett should have had to defend his vote for Obamacare, what were the ads against Buck at the close of the race? Ob-gyn doctors stating he was ‘Too extreme for Colorado’.
It’s not so much that they’re single women; they’re single-issue women.
And I can tell you with complete confidence that a great many otherwise intelligent conservatives are total idiots when it comes to that issue.
