Trifecta: The mainstream media is determined to use the Trayvon Martin tragedy to push its agenda of racial division. Political insider Matthew Dowd even went so far as to implicate Christianity in the death of Trayvon. Some are even referring to the shooter George Zimmerman as a “white hispanic.” Is the left determined to pit the entire nation against itself?

Much as with Sandra Fluke, this is about energizing the base and creating a controversy to distract from Dear Liar’s indefensible record. $4 gallon gas? White vigilante!
The race card was played simply to attract attention. It will end up an argument over gun control.
Wonder how all this is playing out among Hispanic voters? Seems to me Obama could be on a tightrope here. But maybe Zimmerman is not Hispanic enough? But a lot of Independents, horrified by the shooting, might now be even more horrified by the left’s rush to judgment.
I am starting to think that racial incitement is not the primary goal of those pressing the entire Martin-Zimmerman affair. Rather, this came about because the Sandra Fluke/War Against Women has run its course, resulting in pretty much a draw. The Administration and its flackies in the MSM need a different strategy to rally the base and demonize the political opposition. If the WAW has failed it is time to play the “Why do you hate black people” strategy. Note how Trayvon Martin was figuratively pulled out of his grave a month after his untimely, tragic death. Where were all these people when his body was still warm!? Answer; he wasn’t useful until now.
Minorities intent on sowing discord between races will find the millions of white Americans will learn to hate back, because they are heartily sick of being called racists. Count on it.
