If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all!
That really needs a warning to remove all fragile objects that may be used as projectiles from the immediate vicinity before viewing.
SO (expletive deleted). Those that will vote for him a second time only prove that de-evolution of the human species must be taking place.
Thanks bunches for gettin’ my blood pressure up again…
Kat, you have something there. Yesterday while shopping for groceries at Safeway in Central Cal, I sat down at one of those BloodPressure thingys. When I was done, the little video robot lady on the screen told me that my blood pressure was slightly higher than normal and I should go see a doctor. Fair enough. But, I can say that before I started in on Drudge, Breitbart, Vodkapundit and PJTV, my freaking blood pressure was just fine! I like being informed, but I can seriously say why the left look all ‘loose’ and why the right looks a bit , well, ‘tight’. We read the news and don’t live in utopia with golden hover ponies! This stuff can get to you…or me at least!
Energy independence…through pixie dust and unicorn sweat?
Thse lobbyists he wouldnn’t work with in 2008 are apparently a different species from the super PACs now supporting his campaign and working in his White House. Those OTHER lobbyists are BAD.
That’s different. Republicans made him do it.
Can we get a Super PAC to run ads of nothing but his campaign promises? Nothing but clips of him talking about $3.50 gas, saying if employment doesn’t improve call him a one-term President, and so on. Or are we going to let these fall down the memory hole?
Bush made him say that.
“I don’t take money from oil companies.” – Obama
“During his time in the Senate and while running for president, Obama received a total of $77,051 from the oil giant and is the top recipient of BP PAC and individual money over the past 20 years, according to financial disclosure records.” – Politico
Hahahahahaha…oh wait hes serious…
We all think he was complaining that $3.50 a gallon was too damn high. Now with the advantage of 3 years of hindsight, we can see that his complaint back then really was that $3.50 just wasn’t high enough and that with just the right progressive President, we could achieve European price parity for gasoline at 6.00 a gallon.
Those were pre-inflation dollars.
No wonder contraception is the main issue.
Jimmy is exactly correct. Pick a fight that will draw a lot of attention, and walk away from it. Meanwhile, hope and pray that none of your good buddies in the MSM decides to actually write a story on the monstrous pile of luminescent garbage that has been your “presidency”.
The guy raised a record in private campaign donations, and has the stones to stand there and lecture us on what should be done about those evil people who sell gasoline so you can drive your car. I am thunderstruck, daily, by the reality that millions of people a) voted for this @ssclown, and b) will vote for him again. Proudly.
Jimmy, do you get the feeling that we’ve all been ‘played’ by David Axlerod and Valerie Jarrett with this contraceptive thing? Out of nowhere, delivered by George Stephanopolus in a debate, and like the dingbats which we are, we engaged. All of them. Instead of shoving it back into the media’s face, and Axlerods face as well, we engaged! Santorum REALLY engaged on this one.
Axlerod and Jarrett must be rolling on the floor on this one.
It makes lots of sense. Democrats have been demagoguing the abortion and contraception issues for the last 40 years and they have those talking points mastered. Strategy One in the D playbook is to steer discourse to those issues and keep it there! Oh, and Kathleen Sebelius was clearly in on the action as well in pushing that mandate at just the right time…
You Lyin POS, I worked at a Clark gas station during this period on the South side of Chicago, between walkin out to the 50th car and puttin a sign “Last Car”, and the Brothers comin in and sayin “Gimme a Pack of Kools and all your Money, I just can’t believe you’re still tryin to sell the Democrat BULLSHIT. I educated myself, crawled out of the COOK COUNTY SEWER, and have resolved to SOS (Shoot on Sight) the vermin you have created and enabled Mister COMMUNITY ORGANIZER, you make me SICK.
So let me get this straight: He creates conditions that essentially drive oil company profits through the roof, and then complains that they’re taking advantage and making the money? Meanwhile, the smaller refineries and drilling companies are suffering, because they tend to be regional, and most regions in the United States aren’t doing well: the larger companies that are making these record profits are global. We don’t want Alaskan or Canadian oil, or even worse that produced domestically, we want it from Brazil, Venezuela or even better the Middle East. It boggles the mind.
