Zombie Hitler Gives Beverly Perdue Two Thumbs Up

The totalitarian impulse is alive and well:
As a way to solve the national debt crisis, North Carolina Democratic Gov. Beverly Perdue recommends suspending Congressional elections for the next couple of years.
I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won’t hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover,” Perdue said at a rotary club event in Cary, North Carolina, according to the Raleigh News and Observer. “I really hope that someone can agree with me on that.”
We might need to suspend the First Amendment and stuff to really make it work, though.
We could suspend NC Legislative elections for a couple of years. That would keep the Republican majority in place. I’m sure Gov. Perdue would go along, just to help the state recover.
Damn those fascist Rethuglicans!

As a resident of NC within walking distance of the state capital I think the chicken lady is right on the money.
You don’t suppose that redistricting being entirely in the hands of of the state assembly and senate which have republican majorities for the first time since the 1890s has anything to do with this plan. What a fine examples of patriotism these Democrats are.
Apparently she made this statement to a Rotary Club in the town of C.A.R.Y or as we call it Containment Area for Relocated Yankees.

There was a comedian a while back who pointed out that people always employ the “just kidding” rejoinder after realizing they have just made a grossly offensive remark. Somehow the “just kidding” is supposed to erase it…

When is the impeachment? We didn’t suspend elections when nigh on half the country was engaged in active insurrection, we don’t need to suspend them now that the Democrats are having a hard time getting their way.
