Buh-Bye, Timmah!

Bloomberg says SecTreas/TaxCheat Timothy Geithner is “considering leaving the administration” as soon as a debt deal is done.
Let me translate that quote for you: He’s gone.
If I had to guess, he doesn’t want to stick around for the hard, unpopular work to come. Also, you can be sure he wants to “spend more time with family.”
And let’s not forget that all this being in the spotlight has been expensive, paying-his-taxes-wise.

He could be here till Christmas.
Unless the Stupublicans develop some gnads, just pass something with whatever cuts will pass the House and then tell the Senate and WH here pass and sign this or don’t. There will be at least one interim debt ceiling raise.
Well, whether Tiny Tim stays or goes, one of these days he’ll get a dollar bill in change, and it will have “TAX CHEAT!” stamped in the empty area right above his signature. And his wife and children will get money signed by Hubby/Daddy, stamped with “TAX CHEAT!”, which will embarrass them.
And if everyone stamps or writes that over his name every time they find a bill with his signature, we will be able to hound the little twerp for years. And that thought makes me happy.
But srsly . . . when Tim’s phone rings and he doesn’t pick up, the call is auto-forwarded to the Oval Office, right? Someone’s gotta take his job, but who on earth is 1) crazy enough and 2) capable of getting approved by both houses? I see a lot of golf on the horizon.
only needs senate approval. dems still hold that
Who’ll be next up? I’m betting Jaime Gorelick in a recess appointment. She has a knack for being in the middle of every epic disaster to come along.
Timmah is still livin’ a lie:
