The Party Line

AOL/HuffPo is reorganizing again, and this tidbit from BI caught my eye:
The re-org simplifies the company’s reporting structure, and in so doing, tightens the relationship between sales and editorial. In a prior re-org, the company separated editorial management into a separate reporting line than the business side. Editorial will now continue to report to Arianna Huffington–and, through her, to Tim Armstrong. Tim, meanwhile, will directly oversee 5 General Managers, who are responsible for the business side of the content business.
Sales and editorial, linked at Ariana’s hip. That just reeks of… reekiness.

“Sales and editorial, linked at Ariana’s hip.” Now the spoonerism PuffHo means more than ever.
Soros is cutting out the middle man?
Actually, the small c concubines of the Marxist Media empire have cut out sales from editorial departments long ago, judging by the balance sheets.
From the Daily Duranty “the paid for of record”, to WaPo (the dollar thrown INTO the Potomac), to Newsweek (We’re All Dollar Store Shills Now)…it is of little moment that leftists announce that their editorials can be directly bought.
The V-8 moment that causes all the high sloping foreheads on the left, is that the Obama administration realizes that they are the only buying market in town. And that drives the price down to next to nothing. Cheap distortion at cesspool bottom prices. The professional left gets the back of the hand from the Tee Time Totalitarians. Soros wants to play through. Should be interesting.
