Peter Falk is gone. Rather than mourn, we’ll spend some quality time on the sofa this afternoon with The Princess Bride.
Have fun stormin’ the castle!
“You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”
My vote is for “The In-Laws.” If you watch the dinner scene, as Peter Falk talks about the José Grecos de Muertos, you will notice all the other actors are barely able to contain themselves. In fact, because of they kept cracking up, it took an extra day to compete shooting this scene.
RIP, Peter Falk
Or “The Price of Tomatoes.”
In-Laws, hands down.
“The benefits are terrific, the key is to not get killed”
ST. PETER: No, I’m sorry, sir, you don’t make it in. Any more questions, sir?
FALK: [TURNING TO LEAVE] Right, St. Peter, I see… No, no more questions. [WALKS A COUPLE STEPS AND THEN TURNS AROUND AND FACES ST. PETER ONCE MORE] Oh, just one thing….[PUTS HAND UP TO SCRATCH EYEBROW]
ST. PETER: [NERVOUSLY GULPS]
FALK: Did you check the records of my charity work of the early 1980′s? The reason I ask is…
ST. PETER: Gah! Okay! You got me! Come on in!
Yep, “The In-Laws is a great flick. But since “The Princess Bride” is on of my all time favorite flicks, it gets my Falk Tribute nod. And one other thing you should know;
“I, am not left handed.”
