Trifecta: No joke — did you hear about the one-legged wrestler? 96-0 last season. Scott Ott found a great story, and what it means for our nearly-bankrupt SSDI system.
In wrestling, matches are made by weight class. Not having the right leg pulls his weight class waaaaay down, and gives him a very competitive advantage, since the majority of muscles used are upper body and especially arms.
He found a way to turn a terrible handicap into an advantage.
There’s nothing unfair about it. Everyone else is completely allowed to amputate a leg or two and drop weight classes themselves.
Exactly, having one leg is a big advantage in wrestling. He is bigger and stronger than his opponents and half their moves don’t work on him.
