No Ground Forces

Shorter Obama Address: “We have very high aims, but will not provide the means and lack the will to achieve them.”
I miss anything?
Shorter Obama Address: “We have very high aims, but will not provide the means and lack the will to achieve them.”
I miss anything?
“I miss anything?”
Just one:
“We have no idea what we’re doing.”
Does this mean that Gaddafi might not get his iPod, filled with Dear Liar’s speeches?
I believe you omitted the part after the speech where the Obama staff was distracted by a shiny object dangled on a bit of string.
You could probably shorten that up even more without losing any relevant information:
“We have very high aims, but lack the will to achieve them.”
I think the Constitution needs to be modified to ensure that any Presidential candidate must be able to demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the game of poker.
Did we really just let the most powerful executive office in the world be manned by someone has absolutely no understanding of the basic fact that a bluff only works if the person being bluffed thinks there is reasonable chance that you might do what you say you will do?
The President should understand that there is no such thing as a “Lathroscopic” War. You cant fight war in a way that no one get hurt and there is no risk. Worse for those who think they can fight a “little bit”; once you start to fight, you are forced to fight to completion and sometimes that can take decades and generations to complete.
And yes, our ground troops will be in Libya.
Chaps my ass cause I wish I’d said that.
