Congressional Democrats are making the GOP caucus look like the Grownup Party.
On Monday, I believe, comes the Trump and the Shout.
Odd that this spectacle was scheduled to happen on the very day of Christopher Coates’ testimony.
He brought down the House. To a new low.
And…he made John Conyers appear to be the wisest man in the room.
Two Olympian feats.
Steven Colbert was showing the nation that leftist Democrats are not to be trusted with responsibility or power to protect our borders, or be taken seriously because …well, they are buffoons. While at that very same moment Christopher Coates was showing the nation that they cannot be trusted with power to enforce our voting laws and protections, because they are abusive and dangerous and wield it as a weapon against a single class of Americans.
To complete the triple threat, Byron York outlined why the leftist Democrats could not be trusted with the economy, taxes or job creation.
Other than getting caught red handed engaging in systemic state sponsored (and approved) racial discrimination, humiliating themselves with imbecility on the issue of illegal immigration, and being exposed as flimflammers on job creation…not quite sure how it could have gotten any worse for leftist Democrats.
November can’t come soon enough.
My opinion of Steven Colbert goes up and down depending on how long it’s been since he last told a Bush joke (generally not that long). He moved up a few notches for me with his testimony. The chairwoman was irresponsibly frivolous when she invited Colbert to speak and he didn’t let her off the hook. He didn’t straighten up to try and make her look good, instead he went ahead and did what he always does.
I don’t see how anyone could watch the video of his presentation and not be outraged that government time was wasted having a comedian speak about immigration.
Interesting that they had to bring in a faux conservative. If they had brought in a real conservative, he’d have eviscerated them.
These people have confused Congressional approval ratings with golf scores. They seem hellbent on getting those favorable numbers as low as possible.
And if this stunt doesn’t get them to zero, nothing will. Ever.
The whole thing was a disaster, Colbert looked like a fool, was not funny. The brain behind this brilliant move should be ignored next time any suggestions are asked for. A waste of taxpayers money, (dems are good at that) and it demeaned Congress. Embarrassing to say the least.
Colbert is a funny guy and all, but honestly, what the hell was the point of this? I mean, I really don’t know. WTF?
