Let Freedom Ring
Well:
State elections officials narrowly rejected a Milwaukee Assembly candidate’s attempt to run with the slogan “NOT the ‘whiteman’s bitch’ ” under her name on the ballot.
Ieshuh Griffin, a Milwaukee independent running to replace retiring Rep. Annette “Polly” Williams (D-Milwaukee), said she would sue the Government Accountability Board for infringing on her freedom of speech.
“I’m not making a derogatory statement toward an ethnic group. I’m stating what I’m not,” Griffin told board members. “It’s my constitutional right to freedom of speech.”
Griffin has it exactly right — let her run the campaign she wants to run.

One suggested counter-slogan in comments over there: “NOT the blackman’s scapegoat.”
I tend to agree with Stephen on this one. Let her run with it, and watch the fun as the counter-slogans start popping up. The possibilities are endless.
I think it was Frank J who pointed out a couple or three years ago(to paraphrase) that the best thing about the First Amendment is that it takes almost all the work out of figuring out who the idiots are. I think this is the kind of case that proves that point. Let her run with whatever slogan she wants.
She just needs the right opponent – somebody named “D. Mann”…
Absolutely let her use it. It tells me who the real racist is.
I think she means she is the black man’s female dog. But she doesn’t want to sound racist.
